What an amazing way to remember 2012 – year of the Queens Jubilee & the London Olympic Games

Gaps in the Diary

For those of you following my London 2012 Olympic Games story – sadly that has come to an end. I have made the tough decision to withdraw from the volunteer programme for various reasons, some personal and some to do with the time that would be spent in London.

BUT……. on the up side I now have spaces for bookings during July & August. Please feel free to contact me for wedding, civil ceremony’s,  family lifestyle, maternity and newborn photo shoot enquiries.

I am also looking to get more involved with local events in Herefordshire & Worcestershire, so if you have  need a photographer for local events please contact me.

Thank you for your continuing support

London 2012 Olympic Games Volunteer

Some of you may remember that back in June I had an interview in Cardiff to become a London 2012 Gamesmaker, which is their name for a volunteer.

This week I have received some amazing news – I WILL BE PART OF THE LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES TRANSPORT TEAM!!!!!!!!!!! *Screams VERY loud* This will involve driving VIP’s, Press and Officials to venues and accommodation around London.

There is a downside to this and that is unfortunately I shall be unable to make any bookings for during the time of the Games. I shall also be required to do some training days and as soon as I know any dates I will let you know.

I hope all my current and future clients will understand that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and one not to be missed. Thank you all for your continued support.

London Olympics

September last year I started the process in applying to become a Volunteer for the London 2012 Olympics.

Well, back in June I went to the second part of the selection process in Cardiff. My written (emailed) application was one of 250,000 ish…. As one of only 100,000 other people who got to the second part of the process I was nervous. I had been told that I had chosen for the Transport department – which could mean driving important people around or being in the control centre directing drivers to their next jobs.

They are looking for 75,000 Gamesmaker Volunteers to help make the London 2012 Olympics run smoothly.

I haven’t heard anything as yet and was told on the day that we would find out anytime from September onwards…

Just wanted to update you on my new site so I can then share the outcome with you.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me
